On the 2016 Spielwarenmesse in Germany, a company called Painting Lulu has announced an expansion of their Paper-to-Digital app for My Little Pony. With this kit and app you can start to color in the drawing on paper, and later scan it digitally with their app to further enhance the drawing on a tablet or smartphone. The set is already available to order and includes 32 coloring pages, the app expansion for free and a MLP crayon stylus.

About two weeks ago WeLoveFine held a poll where you could vote who you wanted to see as part of the Series 2 Chibi Vinyl Figures including Applejack. You could vote for: Fluttershy, Princess Celestia, Princess Luna, Octavia, Rainbow Dash, Trixie and Lyra. Now the results are officially announced and the winners are: Princess Luna with 20% of the votes. Princess Celestia with 15% of the votes and Lyra and Fluttershy who both got 14%.

Now all these will be part of the Series 2 "Fan Voted" collection. However there are rumors the others will still be made as well but they will be part of the upcoming series 3. We let you know once the prototypes of these four will be revealed and when they're available for pre-order.

The Spielwarenmesse 2016 is now open for two days. So far we've found no Hasbro news yet but I'm sure we eventually will get some more info as the Spielwarenmesse will end on February 1, so we have three days left. But we eventually found some MLP Related Merchandise news as the company Tech 4 Kids is also attending. Tech 4 Kids is most known for their Fashems and Squishy Pops. Speaking about Squishy Pops, a picture of some new ones during the Spielwarenmesse has been posted on Instagram.

As you can see there possibly will be a new playset for the Squishy pops which is a Ferris wheel. Some new Squishy Pops are also being some. We've seen some of them last year during the New York Toy Fair but these are a bit different. Judging b the pics I'm not sure if Spike and Princess Luna will ste be present in this line We do however see DJ Pon-3, Octavia, Cheerilee and Derpy/Muffins. We also see the mane-six, this time in a trotting pose (just like last year) In addition to that all character will receive a clear variant as well.

No other information is known at the moment. The ones from last year at the NY Toy Fair haven't arrived in stores (yet) so lets hope these eventually will. We hope we can report more Spielwarenmesse news these days. Quite exciting isn't it?

The so-adorable Playskool Friends Plush are now available on Amazon. This was actually quite expected since these were revealed at the same time as the Activity Barn who's now available as well since today. The plush are $9.99 each and you can get Applejack, Pinkie Pie and Starsong.

Hasbro has made a press release stating that they will produce a Crystal Empire playset, which will be available towards September this year. In comes just minutes after their initial announcement about the baby of Shining Armor and Princess Cadance (spoilers).
According to the press release, the castle will come with translucent parts and embedded lights, unique for My Little Pony playsets.

Last week we asked you what you voted in the WeLoveFine Chibi poll. The obvious winner is Princess Luna, but our votes do not exactly match that of WeLoveFine. The overall ranking matches, but Rainbow Dash got way more votes in our poll, reaching the second place, while it's not in WLF's winner list at all. Octavia got the bottom spot, and 20% of the voters didn't vote in WLF's poll.

It's Hikari Friday again and it's the day when Funko reveals a new Hikari everytime. Today we finally see a new version of the Rainbow Dash Hikari as the gold one got listed on Entertainment Earth. This one is called the "Gold Dust" Hikari and it's limited to 1000 pcs. You can pre-order it on Entertaiment Earth for a total of $49.99 and she will be available this April. If other sites list this one as well we will update this post.

So a few weeks ago the Fashion Style Rainbow Dash and Rarity with the Gala dresses were finally found at Target Australia. At first they look like some normal ponies like the others but there's something going on... something quite interesting actually. Because the person who found it: Tulips, noticed that these ponies aren't made in China but actually made in India! Because of that we started to do some research and we stumbled upon the following article from Global Toy News. The article is actually already a few months old but I feel like not much people know about this.

The blind bags in the above image might look like a promising new blind bag wave, but sadly they're not. These blind bags are filled with the common bright colored bootleg figures, that have been sold on eBay for over a year now. The figures are in no-way close to actual figures, but the catch is that the blind bags actually look like something that Hasbro would make.
Right now they have been spotted at an Indonesian wholesaler, so it's possible that these will pop-up in other stores and website soon. Again: these are bootleg figures and there is absolutely no guarantee about the quality or safety.

While we already knew that McDonalds would release some new MLP Figures we actually didn't have an official announcement yet. But according to the Happy Meal website they will be released after the current Happy Meal which will end on February 15. This does most likely mean they will be indeed be released on February 16, 2016. We also got a nice HQ image of all the figures. By the looks of it they will each come with a comb and some stickers.

Last week we asked you which characters should be featured as Equestria Girls Mini figures in the future. This is the first time (as far as I remember) that every option got a decent amount of votes: every character got at least 7%! But there can only be one winner, and that is (or are, actually) The Shadowbolts! They're followed by Sonata Dusk (who got more that double to votes of Aria) and Principal Luna. Flash Sentry and Octavia were also popular, leaving Principal Cadance and Aria Blaze as the bottom two, but still with a respectable vote count.

And a new Friends Forever has been announced. This time we're going to read a story about Granny Smith and Pinkie Pie. Granny Smith has broken her hip and Pinkie Pie needs to take care of her. Will this all go well? This issue is written by Christina Rice and drawn by Agnes Garbowska. Two covers have been announced:

It's cider season and things are busy at Sweet Apple Acres! Unfortunately, Granny has broken her hip and Pinkie Pie is called in to look after the cantankerous elder! Will Pinkie's optimism triumph over Granny's stubbornness?

A new comic has been announced and this time it's issue #41 of the main FiM Series. This issue will be about Rainbow Dash who has a bad day and infects those all around her. Will she be able to get happy again? This issue is written by Katie Cook and Drawn by Andy Price. There are three covers announced so far.
Now this issue will be released in April which is also Art Appreciation Month. In celebration of this month Amy Mebberson has re-created the painting named: A Sunday on Le Grande Jatte. This is also the 100th and final cover Amy Mebberson Will draw. However she's not done with MLP as she's the main designer of the Equestria Girls Minis and she will also release a MLP Bedtime Story Book this year. The covers announced so far are:

"Rainbow Dash’s Very Bad Day" A good day turns bad and Dash can’t shake her bad mood. Before long, it infects all of those around her. What can cure this case of the grumpies?!

We first heard about the masks in the McDonald's Happy Meals in July 2015 when Brazil got the first two of them: Rainbow Dash and Twilight Sparkle. In November 2015 Russia got the whole Transformer/My Little Pony set and by the looks of it a lot of countries have started to follow. From this week on you can now get these MLP Masks as well with your Happy Meal in several countries. The countries who have them now are: Germany, Austria, Italy and... the Netherlands as well. The last MLP Themed happy meal we got we're the Keychain figures from.. 2-3 years ago if I'm right. So we were quite excited to see some MLP toys again. So we returned from the McDonald's here and let's see what we got.

My Little Pony erasers have been around for some time now, usually found in stationery sets or single releases. But now a big set of collectible erasers has been found on eBay.
The set is manufactured by a Mexican company called Lucky Clover, which is odd as exactly similar erasers have been released by Bulls-i-Toys. What's new in this set, is the release of Twilight Sparkle, Apple Honey and Sunset Shimmer. I especially like the design of Sunset Shimmer in eraser form!
At this time it's unknown whether this set will ever set foot in other countries, as the Mexican company does not release much outside of their country, and the box hasn't been translated too.

Traditionally at the beginning of every year Hasbro releases a new theme for the My Little Pony website. While they're a bit later this year, but the result is welcome and we can finally learn a bit more about the new toy line. As expected, Explore Equestria is all about traveling around Equestria, and this was also semi-confirmed for the sixth season of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic.
Hasbro also added the first series of Explore Equestria merch on the website and the homepage is now an interactive map of Equestria. All the places can be explored and contain images and text about the location and ponies that live there.
While at this moment it seems that only information from previous seasons is included, the map could be updated in the future as season 6 airs.
We also expect to see more merch from these locations, which could be especially interesting for places like the Everfree Forest and Cloudsdale. This could also explain the glitter brushables, which might be related to the Crystal Empire.

WeLoveFine announced that the Discord Flutter On vinyl figures are in stock on their website. These are the only figures left from the total of 1400 ever made, a no new statues will ever be made. Originally the set was only 1200 figures large, but after the shipping incident, breaking the majority of the figures, they decided to make a larger set to be on the safe side. People also had the option to exchange their original pre-order for cash, which resulted in more left over figures.
The figures started shipping late 2015 and this is the first (and last) time they're available after the pre-orders.
The price is set at $160, and the figure will come with it's own exclusive box and certificate of authenticity, but without the pre-order exclusive coin. You can order the figure on the WeLoveFine website.

The "Siege for the Crystal Empire" story arc is behind us and it's time to move on to a new story arc called "Don't You Forget About Us" This 2-part story will be about the CMC getting lost with several others into the forest. Smyths has released a new commercial for the Equestria Girls Mini series, focusing on the slumber party theme. In the video 3 girls play with the characters and you can see the characters and play sets in great detail and the articulation too.
The video is a regular commercial video, not in line with the animated shorts for Twilight Sparkle and Pinkie Pie that have also been released. We still expect to see more of these, so stay patient of you want to see more!

Last week we asked you what Hasbro should do to improve the POP pony line. Most of you voted for more characters in the line, and that's luckily something that Hasbro is improving on. Another big part of the votes were for a better design. It's up to Hasbro to decide how this would work, if they are willing to improve the design. The current ponies are all interchangeable, but a new design could change that (or not if they have some clever ideas). A fraction of the other votes went to a lower price and the other options have a very low amount of votes.

The first wave 15 blind bags have been spotted in presumably the southern of Europe (France/Spain/Portugal). Someone by the name of mlpbatman posted these images online, showing the bag and card design. As mentioned before, wave 15 is a re-release of wave 5, with the princesses replaced by the other mane 6 members.
With this card we can now safely conclude the blind bag codes, which matches our initial code list. At this moment it's unsure whether this wave has the viewing window or not. The release date is set for January 2016, but this may vary per country and store.

Looks like a new commercial has been released and this time it's for the Pinkie Pie Friendship is Magic Collection. Even though this wave got released some weeks ago it seems like the commercials has just popped up. But I bet this is actually quite normal as we've seen it happen before.

Two days ago it was announced that Aurora would bring out some new My Little Pony Plush including several new characters like Coco Pommel and Starlight Glimmer. So far no good quality image was known but Aurora has now updated their catalogs for 2016 and included a high-quality image of the My Little Pony Pages. The catalog contains more pages with MLP Stuff but those are the plush from last year so nothing new except this particular page. However I decided to include them as well.

The new 'bow'-brushables, the first single figures line from Explore Equestria, is starting to spread and reached Italy this week. So far we know that these are available in Australia and New Zealand, but didn't hear much of this line in other places. Well until today, as Marco shared this image of Starlight Glimmer (and a bit of Applejack) to confirm that these are available in Europe.
This is the first wave of bow figures, featuring Starlight Glimmer, Applejack, Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash. After this wave at least a second wave will follow. It has also just been confirmed that we'll see pearlescent/glitter singles too.

It looks like Aurora is going to bring out some amazing plush again this year was we will get several new characters. Coco Pommel, Princess Cadance, Shining Armor and Starlight Glimmer will join the Aurora Plush line. Much like the previous plush these will again have brushable hair instead of the fabric one. It's sure is strange how much love Coco Pommel is getting these days. A new brushable, Fashion Style, McDonalds Toys etc... however the same goes for Starlight, but I can understand that more since she probably play a big part in the future, maybe the same will happen to Coco? And we also got Princess Cadance and Shining Armor. But those are already some big characters and we get a new boy plush to that's great.

No release date is known at the moment but we hope we can provide more info soon. We will as always. keep you updated.

A few months ago a Fluttershy PEZ Dispenser was found but after that we never heard from it again. It turns out that PEZ made an official announcement of her in December and showed that she would be part of a MLP PEZ tin containing three PEZ dispensers including her, Rainbow Dash and Twilight Sparkle. It's unsure if Applejack and Rarity will join the PEZ line as well and if Fluttershy will also be sold separately sometime. According to the announcements these should be available very soon as the release date says "early 2016"

The official Equestria Girls Youtube channel has uploaded a new video related to the Equestria Girls Minis. This time the video is about Twilight as she needs to prepare some Popcorn for the Slumber Party, we already had a video of Pinkie Pie before so I'm curious if the others will receive a video as well. Probably themed around their playsets.

Some days ago the official My Little Pony website listed some new Explore Equestria Singles, these all had some pearlescent bodies. So far we got Coloratura, Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie and it was actually expected that more would join the line. So it turns out Starlight Glimmer is going to join this line as well as she has been listed on the official website. It's quite strange IMO how much attention Starlight is getting these days. I wonder what we'll see of her in season 6...
So far none of these are released and we don't know when. Please let us know if you find one of them!

The 24th issue of the My Little Pony Friends Forever series has officially been released by IDW. In this issue we learn about the friendship between Rarity and Gilda, and we never see or read much about her, so this could be interesting!
As usual, the Friends Forever comic comes with two covers: A regular cover and a special cover for people who are subscribed to the series.

Man we're sure getting bombed with new merch these days. Anyways Amazon decided to join as well as Amazon has listed a lot of new interesting new items! Some new Explore Equestria Characters including at least three new ones and a lot of new Minis which seems to be Rainbow Rocks themed judging by the fact that an Adagio one has been announced. Awesome!
So far no other information besides the listings is known. So we just have to wait and speculate for now.
